Unifying Fintech Communities in Africa - Ghana

As part of the moves towards the take-off of the Africa Fintech Network and Council, the President of Fintech Association of Nigeria and Convener of the Africa Fintech Network had an exciting engagement on Tuesday, 4th Sept 2018 with the leadership of the Ghana Fintech community and related constituencies including the reps of the Ghana Fintech Chamber working group, bank executives, professional banking institute, CEOs of tech companies, business editors of media houses and others.

The meeting, hosted by e-Process international (a subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated) at the Boardroom of the brand new state of the art Ecobank Ghana Head Office building in Accra, agreed on the need for all organizations in the Ghana fintech ecosystem to work together with one voice and one strong body towards moving forward the very vibrant fintech activities and players in Ghana and support the effort to have a continental body to drive, promote and advance fintech activities in Africa with handshakes with similar organizations in other continents of the world.
