Unilever Nigeria Plc, makers of Pears Baby range, has announced the winner and two runners-up in the Pears ‘Baby of the Year’ competition.
Three babies emerged winner from a selection of over 1,400 entries received across the country.
The competition, tagged, ‘Cuteness overload’ was a contest where interested parents shared creative pictures of their babies below three-year old with a range of Pears products while winners were shortlisted and they proceeded to the next round via online voting.
Speaking during the grand finale in Lagos on Tuesday, the Marketing Director, Unilever Ghana Nigeria, Mrs Bunmi Adeniba, said the company had continued to carefully produce baby care products that would keep the baby’s skin nourished and healthy.
She emphasised that Pears baby products had been in the market for over 50 years and had consistently fulfilled its promise of providing pure, mild and gentle products for mothers and their babies.
She said, “The journey of the Pears ‘Baby of the Year’ competition started some months ago with over 1,400 babies, and we are very grateful to all the family and friends who have been with us since the beginning. Thank you for sharing the warmth and joy of your babies with us all through this competition.”
